Equally significant was the Hank Aaron jersey, worn during his milestone 500th career home run, which fetched $567,000.

The auction also included several other noteworthy items from the renowned Geddy Lee Collection. One standout piece was a single-signed baseball by President Herbert Hoover, which far exceeded its estimated value of $25,000 and sold for an astounding $214,200. This unique and historically significant item showcased the intersection of baseball and politics. Another gem from the Geddy Lee Collection was a Mickey Mantle-signed baseball with an inscription about Brooks Robinson’s exceptional play at third base, selling for $30,240.

One of the most captivating items up for auction was a photograph from the Gladstone Collection, which depicted Civil War soldiers with baseball equipment. This intriguing piece surpassed all expectations, achieving a final sale price of $113,400, well beyond its estimated value of $10,000. The photograph not only captured a moment in time but also highlighted the enduring connection between baseball and American history.
