Upper Deck Welcomes Hockey Prodigy Michael Misa

Upper Deck, the renowned leader in sports collectibles, has made waves in the hockey world by securing an exclusive multi-year partnership with Michael Misa, a promising young talent making waves in junior hockey and predicted to be the top pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. At just 15 years old, Misa earned the prestigious “Exceptional Status” for the 2022-23 season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), becoming only the sixth player in league history to receive this honor. Now 17, he has already clinched the titles of OHL Rookie of the Year and the esteemed Emms Family Award, solidifying his place as a rising star in the sport.

Jason Masherah, the President of Upper Deck, expressed his excitement about welcoming Misa to the Upper Deck family, eagerly looking forward to developing and distributing a distinct collection of memorabilia and trading cards to celebrate Misa’s promising career. This exclusive collection is designed to provide fans with innovative ways to commemorate Misa’s journey, offering both physical and digital formats for their enjoyment.

Fans can look forward to a range of exclusive memorabilia featuring Misa, including autographed game-used pucks from his time with the Saginaw Spirit, prints of his iconic #77 jersey, and signed jerseys capturing key moments from his early career. In addition, Upper Deck has introduced three Game Dated Moments trading cards on UpperDeckEpack.com, commemorating milestones like Misa’s #1 pick status in the 2022 OHL Priority Draft, his first goal, and his Rookie of the Year accolade. The first 25 collectors to complete the card set will receive a special treat – an autographed version of Misa’s Rookie of the Year award card, available for purchase until February 22.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Upper Deck’s roster alongside hockey legends such as Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid, Misa highlighted the significance of this partnership in realizing his childhood dreams and sharing his journey with fans. The collaboration between Upper Deck and Michael Misa not only celebrates the ascent of a young hockey prodigy but also upholds Upper Deck’s tradition of connecting fans with their sports heroes through creative and interactive collectibles. With this partnership, fans can look forward to a unique and engaging way of celebrating the remarkable career of Michael Misa.
