Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has announced the launch of their new program ‘The Ten’, designed to celebrate and reward collectors who discover the top 10 sports cards in the market. This revolutionary initiative, inspired by lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, presents a dynamic selection of 10 cards across various sports. Collectors who successfully pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will be granted a generous $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ will feature a monthly rotation of cards, carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Among the featured cards are the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card, and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list comprises an impressive array of legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry, alongside up-and-coming stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse portfolio covers cards from renowned brands like Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s objective to enhance the collecting experience and underscored Fanatics Live’s commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby. The initiative aims to foster community engagement, allowing Fanatics Live participants and the wider collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.

‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and ignite enthusiasm for existing releases with chase cards. Dealers and collectors alike can showcase these cards, generating excitement and encouraging active participation and discussion within the community.

Fanatics Live is planning to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’, in order to celebrate major discoveries and announce the upcoming cards. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their discoverers, adding to the overall narrative and excitement surrounding the program.

The program, which may include appearances by guest athletes and additional prizes, places a strong emphasis on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, providing a unique and engaging storytelling aspect. Since its launch, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an impressive average watch time of 56 minutes, highlighting its emergence as a community-focused platform. Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the potential impact ‘The Ten’ program will have on the Fanatics brand, as well as the passionate collector community.
