Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Showcase Autographs and Top Prospects

Leaf Trading Cards excites collectors with the announcement of their upcoming baseball card releases, focusing on prospect autographs and exclusive inserts that highlight the top MLB prospects, including the first professional cards for many 2024 MLB Draft picks.

Leaf Metal, the first of the two releases, is set to debut on October 25 in both Hobby and Jumbo Box formats, offering a variety of cards for enthusiasts. The Hobby Box features seven cards, with four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box boasts 14 cards, with eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a unique “pulsar auto” exclusive to the Jumbo Box, and a “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in Leaf Metal will be numbered to 35 or less, enhancing their collectability.

One of the most sought-after cards in Leaf Metal is the triple autograph card showcasing the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. The set also features autographs from promising 2024 draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, Konnor Griffin, and Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony. Notable prospects such as Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo, as well as potential future draftees like Ethan Holliday, are also included. Rookies and recent grads like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood add diversity to the collection.

Following Leaf Metal, Leaf Press Pass Premium is scheduled for release on November 8, presenting high-quality cards in premium boxes. Each box contains six base cards and parallels, with five autographs, one of which is numbered to 25 or less for added exclusivity. The series comprises a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, each with eight parallels numbered to 35 or less.

Leaf Press Pass Premium showcases autographs from 2024 draftees such as Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, Burns, and future prospects like Ethan Holliday. The collection also features veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan, appealing to a wide range of fans. Autographs in the base set are numbered to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are limited to 49 or fewer. An intriguing addition to the release is the “Press Box Signatures” insert, featuring iconic names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s official website and at major card retailers, providing collectors with the opportunity to elevate their collections with a mix of promising rookies and legendary veterans. These sets promise to deliver a diverse lineup of talent, making them a valuable addition to any card enthusiast’s collection.

Leaf Trading Cards continues to innovate within the baseball card industry, offering collectors unique opportunities to own exclusive autographs, top prospects, and specialized inserts that celebrate the rich history and promising future of the sport.
